Credible Witness: Companions, Prophets, Hosts and Other Australian Missional Models (UNOH Publications: 2006) is Darren Cronshaw's first book. Darren is connected with the FORGE Mission TRaining Network, was a missionary in Asia and has an extensive teaching and writing ministry.
Credible Witness is an important book for anyone who is serious about evangelising in the Australian context. To my knowledge, it is the only book that systematically studies the various cultural models that have arisen in the Australian context. Cronshaw, a keen studier of culture and the culture of mission, has outlined six models from which Australian Christians can learn how to proclaim the Gospel without ignoring our culture or drowning the Gospel in it.
